Unlike many competitors, KUHNE Group offers flat film extrusion line designs to produce these membranes. With a flat film line, KUHNE Group enables its customers to produce geomembranes at almost triple the output volume of that of blown film lines.
KUHNE geomembrane lines allow customers to imprint spikes and hook designs directly into the membranes, thus ensuring no slippage or movement of the sheets once they have been put into place.
Furthermore, thickness tolerances are greatly reduced to merely ± 3.5 %. Automatic thickness controls can be incorporated that adjust the thicknesses within ± 1.25%. Such massive reductions in thickness variation means customers can save large amounts of expensive material during production without running the risk of not fulfilling the barrier requirements set forth in their industry.
